Required Documents for Tourist and Business Visa

Personal Documents

Completed Application Form
- The form must be filled out and signed by the applicant.
Valid Passport
- A passport valid for travel to Jordan with at least six months of remaining validity.
- The passport should have a minimum of two blank pages for the visa sticker and immigration stamps.
Photographs
- Two recent color photographs (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm) with a white background.
- Photos must be no older than three months and should not have been used in previous visas.
- The applicant’s ears must be visible.
Marriage/Divorce Certificate
- A copy of the marriage or divorce certificate as applicable.
- For widows, a copy of the death certificate is required.
- If applying as a family and names are not listed on passports, a marriage certificate is mandatory.
Visa Request Letter
- A letter from the applicant and, if employed, from the employer.
For Minors:
- Consent from either parent or custodian if both parents are not traveling together.
- Photocopy of the passports of parents or legal guardians.
- Proof of financial means of parents or legal guardians.
- Original birth certificate of the minor issued by the relevant authority.
- Documentation proving the status of “legal guardian” issued by Bangladeshi Courts.

Professional Documents

For Businesspersons:

Business Registration Documents
- Trade license (renewal) for proprietorship.
- Business agreement/deed copy for partnerships.
- Memorandum of articles, certificate of incorporation, and Form 12 for limited companies.
- VAT, IRC, and LC copies.
- Membership certificate (if applicable) and two business cards.

For Employees:

No Objection Certificate (NOC)
- Original NOC on official company letterhead with stamp, signature, and date, detailing:
  - Address, telephone, and fax numbers of the employing company.
  - Name and position of the countersigning officer.
  - Applicant’s name, position, salary, and years of service.
  - Approval for leave and confirmation of position upon return.
Financial Documentation
- Pay slip or original salary statement.
- For official passport holders: government order copy, original note verbal, and two business cards.

For Business Visits:

Company Cover Letter
- Letter from the employer in English on official company paper with seal, signature, and date, detailing:
  - Address, telephone, and fax numbers of the employing company.
  - Name and position of the countersigning officer.
  - Applicant’s name, position, salary, and years of service.
  - Approval for absence and confirmation of position after return.
  - Details of the individual or entity covering travel and living expenses.

For Retirees:

Retirement Documents
- Relevant documentation to prove retirement status.

For Students:

School Documentation
- Copy of student ID and original school leave letter/permission of absence, including:
  - Full address and contact details of the granting authority.
  - Purpose, duration, and destination if part of a school trip.

Financial Documents

Bank Statements
- Original bank statements with the bank seal and signature for the last six months, applicable to both personal and company accounts.

Overseas Documents (For Business Visits Only)

Invitation Letter
- A letter from the host organization in Jordan, including conference registration details.
Employer Letter
- A letter from your employer outlining the reasons for your visit, contact details of involved business parties, and your employment contract.

Travel Documents

Air Ticket Booking
- Copy of the return airline ticket booking, including Passenger Registration Number or Reservation Number.
Hotel Booking
- Confirmation of hotel reservations.
